After-build cleaning: what it includes and what it costs
- Debris, dust, cement, paint and glue residue removed
- Price depends on surface, access and soiling
- Cleaning is invoiced at 21% VAT (reverse charge possible B2B)
What does after-build cleaning include?
It goes far beyond a simple tidy-up: removal of waste and debris, thorough dusting and vacuuming, cleaning of windows and glazed surfaces, degreasing and deep washing, and disinfection of the spaces — so they are truly ready to use.
Cement, paint and glue residue
Paint, glue and cement residue need specific techniques and products. That's exactly what after-build cleaning is for — an ordinary clean won't remove them.
What influences the price?
Surface area, accessibility (height, equipment needed), the level of soiling and the type of residue. A free quote based on your site is always the fairest.
What about VAT?
In Belgium, cleaning is invoiced at the standard 21% VAT rate. For works in immovable state between businesses, the VAT reverse-charge (co-contractor) rule may apply — we invoice correctly.
